The kiddo bought a lock for his band locker on Friday so he happily left his mouthpiece in the locker so he didn’t have to lug it around all day. Lock, locker…secure right? Not so.
Fast forward to Monday, head to class and not only is the mouthpiece gone but so is the lock. Now there isn’t another Tuba player in school and I don’t think you can use it on another instrument. He has another so he can still play. Yet this is still annoying because it was the one he liked the best and had since he started playing. Very frustrating for the kiddo who hates change.

Last weekend was Family Fun Day at ISM. The event is sponsored by the PTA as one of their main fundraisers. In the cafeteria different country booths are set up displaying and sharing foods. Parents and students from different countries prepare cultural foods and decorations to share with the fun day attendees. There was a great variety of food to be sampled. On the field, booths were set up with games for the kids. Games were run by student groups for fundraising for their activities also. Ariel enjoyed the activities a lot. She even pasued long enough to have her picture made with the really tall guy.

We’ll look forward to next year’s event as this was a fun day.
