Life in the Philippines

We did some of our last minute shopping at the Mall of Asia in Manila.   We started the day with breakfast at Krispy Kreme.  It was a tasty start before entering Mall of Asia to grab those few last things we needed before Christmas arrived.  I was surprised how many name brand American stores are in the mall. There is even a ice hockey/skating rink on the bottom floor.  We made our way towards the toy store as Ariel had a few things left on her shopping list.  Close to the toy store we found a huge Christmas tree.  In Manila, Christmas decorations are everywhere and Mall of Asia was no exception.  The tree was huge and beautifully decorated.

Mall of Asia is a huge mall. It is the second largest in the Philippines and was built on reclaimed last from the sea. One of the areas of Mall of Asia that we’ll visit in the future is the 3D planetarium.  If you have time, take a look at the Wiki page on Mall of Asia to see pictures.
